Monsaraz

A vila medieval de Monsaraz é uma verdadeira maravilha

no Alentejo. Situada no alto de uma colina, oferece
vistas incríveis do interior do Alentejo ao redor e do

The medieval village of Monsaraz is a true wonder of Portugal and should be on everyone's bucket list in the Alentejo. Perched atop a hill, it offers incredible views of the surrounding Alentejo countryside and the Alqueva Lake. It is a small village surrounded by historic walls and, at one end, a 13th-century castle. This part of Portugal is often referred to as the land that time forgot. When you walk through these winding streets, it’s easy to see why!
